Programs
The Augustine Program is committed to meeting the educational needs of academically gifted students and to helping them achieve their potential.
Augustine students are strongly encouraged to enter Academic Competitions and are supported by a consultant for gifted and talented students, who is also available to consult with teachers and provide family support.
At each Year level, a differentiated and targeted program of learning is offered in Advanced Learners’ Classes to gifted and talented students.
Extension Programs are offered for Spelling (Years 5 to 6), Mathematics (Years 5 to 7) and English (Years 7 and 8), while Accelerated Programmes are offered in both Mathematics and Science from Year 8.
Other programs include the Resource Program for students with learning difficulties and English as a Second Language (ESL).
